Catalyst CEO Delivers Keynote Remarks at Alma Mater Milton Hershey School Girls Empowerment Event

On Friday November 6, Catalyst CEO Algene Sajery  joined her alma mater,  Milton Hershey School,  as keynote sopeaker and alimni panelist at this year’s  Girls Grace Virtual Conference

The theme for the event was FOCUS ON KINDNESS—kindness to themselves and others. Throughout the night, students learned about establishing a growth mindset, creating personal mantras of self-affirmation, self-care, and most importantly, giving themselves grace as they strive to be their best selves as empowered women.

Algene gave keynote remarks and joined an  alumni panel, offering words of wisdom and encouragement to the young women of MHS.

She also gifted the young ladies a Kindness Journal, to help them  document their acts of kindness and empathy, towards themselves  and others.

She thanked Ms. Sharice Johnson, founder of Girls Grace and coordinator of Student Character and Leadership Development, Ms. Chatherine , Ms , Ms, Mrs. Jane Gurt, wife of MHS President Pete Gurt ’85, and her fellow panelists, adding “I   thankful for my experience at Milton Hershey School,  and for the opportunity to share my story with future leaders, philanthropists, activists, and trailblazers in our  Milton Hershey School family.  Remember your value, your strength, and your ability to give back.”
